What is Hang Tueng Farm?
Hang Tueng Farm is a cultural living farm in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Come for rice planting, buffalo activities, cooking and crafts, or stay overnight in a farm cottage.

Can beginners try rice planting?
Yes. The farm team shows you how to plant rice and takes you through the activity. You do not need farming experience.

What is included in the rice and buffalo experience?
The signature activity includes rice seedlings, rice planting, grass cutting, feeding and bathing buffaloes, and a farm lunch with an herbal drink and mango sticky rice.

Can children join?
Yes. Families can join farm activities, and private children’s sessions are available. Tell us the children’s ages so we can help you choose a suitable visit.

Can we plant rice all year?
The farm prepares areas for rice planting throughout the year. Contact us about your date so we can confirm the arrangements for your visit.

Which farm stays can I book?
Choose Ha Ni Ba Hoei House, Rice Barn House or E-Tan Farm Truck. The cottage page has photos, capacity and rates for each. Check your dates in the booking system for availability.

Are activities included in the room price?
Farm activities are booked separately from the listed cottage room rates. Ask us if you would like to plan both a stay and activities.

Do you arrange school field trips?
Yes, for Thai and international schools. Teachers can plan activities with us to suit student ages, learning goals and budget. School group rates start at 20 students.

Do you offer herbal activities?
Yes. You can make herbal compresses and inhalers, try indigo tie-dye or ask about traditional herbal steam. Contact us to check the available sessions.

Can you bring workshops to another venue?
Yes. Offsite options include herbal sachet making, a mini rice-pot workshop and a Lanna herbal corner. Tell us about your venue and group so we can discuss the details.
